Looks like Maarten Stekelenburg and Sergio Ramos have something more in common other then participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. Let's just say we're not so sure if his hands are good enough for Manchester United now.
AFC Ajax had just clinched their first Eredivisie title since 2004 and it was a momentous occasion as you can imagine. The streets of Amsterdam were full of celebration as Ajax strolled down in their championship bus with Goal Keeper Maarten Stekelenburg hoisting their Dutch silverware high up. Unfortunately for his touch let him down as within moments a plate came down from the bus and nearly took a trip downtown it wasn't for a Policeman grabbing it and passing it on to a fan who promptly returned it to the team.

An alert fan takes it upon himself to return the silverware.
Maarten Stekelenburg wasn't completely at fault here as the trophy did manage to hit power-lines which caused it to leap out of his hands. However, one has to wonder if Stekelenburg and Ramos phoned each other afterwards; I doubt it, but it would make for some funny news.

I've posted the video of the incident below. Enjoy.
