Mourinho Set For Round 2

José Mourinho looks set to participate from the stands for the return leg against FC Barcelona at the Nou Camp. FC Barcelona lead the tie having won 2-0 in Madrid.

It seems certain now that José Mourinho will not face a UEFA Champions League ban, although he Will be relegated to the stands for being dismissed in the 1st led, or a punishment from UEFA for what FC Barcelona reported. The UEFA Disciplinary and Control committee rejected FC Barcelona's case.

Meanwhile, Portuguese international Pepe remains to miss out on the 2nd leg as Real Madrid's appeal was rejected. Real Madrid had offered up what they called video evidence showing that Pepe's challenge was less severe than originally presumed and that Dani Alves made the most of the situation. However, UEFA stood their ground on the matter and the suspension will remain.

Ahead of the 2nd leg, the animosity only seems to be growing between both clubs as new allegations have arisen. ESPN Soccernet reported that Real Madrid are now accusing Sergio Busquets of having racially discriminated Marcelo, Real Madrid's Brazilian LB. The video below posted on Youtube.com shows a clip of the Barcelona midfielder allegedly whispering a derogatory term to Marcelo.

Despite the score-line favoring FC Barcelona heavily with 2 away goals, the return leg looks to be just as fiery as the first. Hopefully, both sides will be on their best behavior and that includes their supporters as well.
