Tottenham Crash? Gareth Bale Not Fit To Play

Tottenham Hotspurs were dealt a major blow going into the final 3 matches of their Premier League season as they will be without LB/LM Gareth Bale. 

The newly crown PFA footballer of the year has easily been Tottenham's best player over the past 2 seasons and will be missed especially in the upcoming ties against Manchester City and Liverpool FC. Liverpool are only 1 point behind Tottenham for the 5th place slot and can go ahead this evening with a victory; Tottenham will play Manchester City tomorrow night and will have an opportunity to reclaim 5th if Liverpool indeed wins today, but that would merely lead to their clash next weekend. 


Tottenham had an amazing European campaign reaching the QF's of the UEFA Champions League only to fall to Real Madrid. However, this season saw the emergence of Manchester City into that 4th and last Champion's League slot which has at this point virtually left Tottenham fighting for an automatic Europa League berth which is now also in jeopardy.
